Communion Assistants

Communion assistants help the pastor give communion to the congregation. Communion assistants follow the pastor and serve wine in either small (individual) cups or the large (common) cup. They will also deliver the departing blessing to those taking communion. Communion is very important in Lutheran churches. Since we believe that Christ's body and blood are present in the bread and wine, only male confirmed members of the church may serve as communion assistants.

Please contact Scott for more information or to volunteer.
